Not in some abstract sense, not in the distant future. Right now. The Bringing Species Back to Color Program was created to intervene in this critical space\u2014the one between survival and extinction.   <\/p>\n\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group ph-cta\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-button btn-primary\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"\/dona-ora\/\">Donate Now<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-button btn-outline-w\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"\/adotta-un-animale\/\">Adopt an Animal<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group pg pg--white\">\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-group wrap\">\n\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group pg-head reveal\"><p class=\"pg-kicker wp-block-paragraph\">Bringing Species Back to Color<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bringing Color Back to Nature<\/h2>\n\t\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The slogan is \u201cBringing Species Back To Color\u201d: bringing color back to nature.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<p class=\"pg-lead reveal wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEvery protected species, every improved habitat, every animal that reproduces is a piece of biodiversity restored to the planet.\u201d<\/p>\n\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group prose center reveal d1\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The name is no coincidence. All the species involved have black-and-white markings: the ring-tailed lemur, the white-handed gibbon, the snow leopard, and the African penguin. And in the IUCN Red List\u2019s color-coding system, <strong>black represents extinction<\/strong>. Its natural habitat\u2014the forests of Madagascar\u2014is shrinking dramatically. The project aims to transform the lemur area into an immersive environment that faithfully recreates the forests of Madagascar, creating conditions more suitable for the conservation of the species within the EEP program. Visitors will be able to walk along a path that simulates the original ecosystem and gain a tangible understanding of what it means to lose a forest.   <\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split reveal fx-int split--rev\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split__media\"><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large split__img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/an-gibbone.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split__body\"><p class=\"split__eyebrow wp-block-paragraph\">Gibbons \u00b7 White-handed Gibbon<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Life at Height<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The white-handed gibbon is threatened by deforestation and the illegal trade. The project involves expanding the outdoor area with tree-lined vertical structures that allow the gibbons to live primarily at height, as they do in the wild, and creating an immersive observation point for visitors. The goal is to facilitate the formation of a stable pair within the EEP program.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split green reveal fx-int\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split__media\"><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large split__img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/exp-leopardo-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split__body\"><p class=\"split__eyebrow wp-block-paragraph\">Ghost of the Mountains \u00b7 Snow Leopard<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Climate and Coexistence<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The snow leopard is a symbol of the effects of climate change and conflicts between humans and wildlife. The project involves the complete renovation of the area and the creation of two artificial rocky peaks that replicate the Asian mountain habitat, featuring a cave accessible to visitors through glass panels. The goal is to improve conditions to promote breeding within the EEP and to raise public awareness of global issues such as climate change and the coexistence of humans and wildlife.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split split--solo reveal fx-int\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split__media\"><span class=\"split__img split__img--attesa\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-group split__body\"><p class=\"split__eyebrow wp-block-paragraph\">Penguins \u00b7 African Penguin<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Back to the Sea<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The African penguin is a species severely threatened by marine pollution and intensive fishing. The project involves the creation of a designated area to support nesting and reproduction, equipped with technical systems for water management, as well as participation in European programs aimed at reintroducing the species into the wild. <\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group pg cta-band dark\">\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-group wrap reveal\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Support the Bringing Species Back to Color Program<\/h2>\n\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your donation goes directly to these projects.
