At Zoo al Maglio, you’ll find lions, snow leopards, gibbons, lemurs, wallabies, parrots, and dozens of other species.<\/p>\n\t\t

Each animal is cared for according to an individualized care plan, in environments designed with its well-being in mind. Many of them can be observed up close, and you can even feed some of them alongside the keepers. <\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

White-handed Gibbon<\/h3>

It moves by brachiation, swinging from one branch to another without ever touching the ground.<\/p><\/div><\/a>

Ring-tailed Lemur<\/h3>

Their black-and-white-striped tails always give them away. They live in groups and communicate using specific vocalizations.<\/p><\/div><\/a>

Tufted Capuchin<\/h3>

Sulcata Tortoise<\/h3>

Slow by definition, yet majestic in every movement: many visitors are surprised by its size.<\/p><\/div><\/a>

Corn Snake<\/h3>

Docile and curious, it is not venomous: it kills its prey by constriction.<\/p><\/div><\/a>

Parrots<\/h3>

Macaws, Amazon parrots, cockatoos, and African grey parrots: among the longest-living and most intelligent animals at the zoo.<\/p><\/div><\/a>

Burrowing Owl<\/h3>

A bird of prey that lives underground: it nests in burrows and, unlike almost all of its relatives, is also active during the day.<\/p><\/div><\/a>
