Zoo al Maglio is home to several species of parrots: macaws, blue-fronted, yellow-fronted, and red-fronted Amazon parrots, cockatoos, and African grey parrots. They are among the longest-living animals at the zoo\u2014many live past fifty years\u2014and among the most intelligent: they solve problems, learn from their peers, and recognize people. <\/p>\n
That is precisely why they receive new items every day, and some children’s workshops are dedicated to making new ones for them.<\/p>\n
