The Susy Fehr – ZooCARE Foundation is a nonprofit organization: all funds it receives go toward the animals and their care.

Four areas where every donation makes a difference.
Conservation
We support international programs for endangered species: the EEP for snow leopards, research on Barbary lions, and Pro Specie Rara for Swiss breeds. Your contribution allows us to be part of a network fighting against extinction.
Animal Welfare
High-quality veterinary care, environments tailored to each species, and daily enrichment activities. Every animal is cared for to ensure its health, safety, and natural behavior. All of this comes at a cost—every day.
Research
We support scientific projects that improve our understanding of species and the quality of care. A better understanding of animals means better protection for them.
Education
Workshops, guided tours, and activities for schools, families, and seniors. Every child who learns to respect an animal is a small step toward a better future.

Two ways to get up close to the zoo animals.
Sponsorship
Become a sponsor
The most special bond with an animal at the zoo. With an annual donation, you provide tangible support for the care of the animal you choose. You’ll receive a Sponsor Card and one free admission to the zoo. For donations of CHF 500 or more, you’ll also receive an annual pass. And a special experience: a guided tour of your animal’s enclosure, or feeding time for the large carnivores.
You can also choose a partial sponsorship and split the donation.
