Their front paws are so dexterous that they almost look like hands: they open containers, explore every nook and cranny, and examine every new object with a curiosity that never wanes. The dark mask over their eyes is why we call them “the forest bandits.”
The raccoons at the zoo enjoy interacting with visitors and let them feed them by hand during theAnimal Experience.
