Who they are
Shetland ponies are small but extremely sturdy: the breed developed on windy islands with sparse pasture, which has made them resilient and patient.
These are the stars of the Pony Tour: on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, from 10:30 to 11:00, children can take a ride along the zoo’s trails accompanied by zookeepers. They are not allowed to feed the animals.
