Rabbits’ teeth grow throughout their lives: gnawing isn’t a habit—it’s a necessity—which is why hay is always available to them. Their ears, in addition to hearing, help them dissipate heat.
Since guinea pigs are social animals, at the zoo they live in groups in an area where children can observe them up close.
