Who they are
Their black-and-white-striped tails always give them away, even when they try to hide among the vegetation. Ring-tailed lemurs live in groups led by females, communicate using specific vocalizations, and move around together.
They are endemic to Madagascar: they exist only there, and the forest where they live is rapidly shrinking. We participate in the European conservation program for this species, with the goal of raising awareness about it and helping to maintain a healthy population outside its natural range.
